 It has been a little while since we talked! We have a few good things coming for the summer season and we wanted to share them with you.

 First, amoungst other great shows, we are looking forward to a great summer with gigs at the beach as well as playing an every Sunday late happy hour gig at Mex at the Power Plant.

 Keep your eyes peeled to the calendar for upcoming shows!

 Also, come hell or high water, this summer we promise some original music. The band has been working hard on bouncing ideas of each other over the last few months and we have some great stuff in the works. Plan on hearing and announcment soon as to where you can catch our first few original tunes!

Hey all,
 

  Let us start with the sort of new news.  As many of you know a number of months ago, our good friend and bassist Trent left the band to pursue his career in the visual arts.  He has been keeping busy and wants to send well wishes to all the Qi Lo friends he made over the years during his tenure as bassist!
 

  With Trent’s departure, we would like to welcome Andrew Wheat to the band.  Andrew is a well respected figure in the local all original music scene lending his rock solid guitar, bass guitar and vocal expertise to many bands you have seen all around the Baltimore, Towson and DC areas.  Wheat, as his friends call him, Is a great addition to the Qi Lo and we look forward to working with him as a permanent fixture for years to come.
 

  Now, for...

We recently have been adding live recordings to the site form shows we play each week. This week we added two new files from our gig at the 13th Floor and our gig at The Diamond Back Tavern. Hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy bringing them to you. Peace out, The QI Lo

Hmmm….. I know we have been talking about it for a while but the time has come for us to make good on at least half of our promises. So let me give you the good news first. We have finally put some audio on the site! You may have noticed that there is a new tab listed on the site for music. Click it and it will take you to a page of live recordings of the QI Lo. And now for the not so good news. They are all covers. We are still in the process of working on originals but for the right now we are recording the live shows each week and will be adding selected tunes from time to time. Hope you enjoy it! Hello to everyone, It’s been a while since we spoke. Sorry about that. We just wanted to keep everyone posted on our progress. The band has been keeping busy working on some original music. I know I have said it in the past but trust me it is coming soon. We hope to be able to post at least some demo quality excerpts soon so keep your ears peeled! Also we are in process of putting a few more video clips up from the Finger Eleven show. Once we get them loaded to youtube we will let everyone know so you can check them out. Along with the studio recording we are in the process of working on a way to record our live performances. That way we will be able to have select tunes posted on the site. Everyone keep your eyes pealed. We will be adding some new photos from a bunch of our past weeks show’s we also will be adding some video of us playing at the Greene Turtle and at Mex at the Power Plant. Here is some exciting news on the original music front; we finally have our butts in gear and have been writing some stuff.
